It is 1:39am and I'm wide awake! Why, you might be asking? Because I fell asleep at 8pm after a brutal day or packing, shopping and getting through some bouts of crankiness with my little man. Since I knew Nathan was going to be out late I decided Harrison would cuddle up with me (and by that I mean he would kick, flallel about -excuse my spelling- poke me in the face, make funny faces - he can't be still and he is not a cuddeler by any means). Well we both fell asleep at 8pm and then at 12am I was awake again. I don't know if it was by motherly instincts that I awoke or by the prompting of the Holy Spirit but within minutes I found myself hanging on to Harrison by one leg as he dangled from the bed to the floor. He had about rolled off! Next time I'll put a pillow barrier up. Nathan has now arrived safely at home, has moved Harrison back to his bead and I have enjoyed my first cup of warm milk in hopes of sleeping.
In my attempt to return to sweet slumber I leave you all with these gems!
Again, how fast does time fly? He looks like a 5 year old!!!

That's Nathan hard at work tiling. It's taken him almost a week to complete it all. Tonight he mentioned that he hates tiling. I think the house stuff has just now started to wear on him. But, as of tonight he's done with the mortar and we are on to grout! I've never appreciated both in my life until now. It's the small things.

We ran into a painting conundrum so we decided to paint the green into the dining room. It's looks better in person, I can reassure you. Also painting! Can I just vent for a second here. It has taken us 3 weeks to paint! What the world!!!!!!!!! Primer, first coat, second coat, ceilings... I really thought painting was the easiest part. It is and it isn't...

That's our new bathroom vanity :) I'm now on the hunt for the perfect Master Bath mirror! The goal - Cheap yet doesn't look like it! Silver framed, elegant and makes the person looking into it look slimmer :)

Nathan is a few tile away from completing our bathroom. Picture purple/blue/grey glass decorative tile above those tiles in the shower. Oh... so pretty!
This was our causality. Down one full hour because of this bad choice in paint.

Within a day it was corrected. We still went with green for the baby's room but not a green that makes your mouth water with the desire for a sour green apple Jolly Rancher. We decided green can be dressed with purple and pink for a girl and blue, white, orange and all sorts of other primary colors for a boy. We're sticking to the Fisher Price color theme with our kids :)
I can't wait to show you all our master bedroom color choice. I couldn't be more pleased! If this were my dream home I think I might actually use the color in our bedroom for the whole entire house... okay, not really but I'd be tempted to. I love it that much!
HJ's room is the same. I really like Buzz Light Year Blue. It fits him well.
GOOD NIGHT!!!!!!!! XOXOXO
-Libby
