Oak St. -Before (The FULL tour)

We closed on our house last Thursday at 12pm and by 1:00pm my father in-law started taking apart the cabinets. We are so excited that the closing process is done and that the remodeling process has begun.

Here are all of the pictures of the house before we started destroying it.

Front doors on your left, stairs to the upstairs and doorway to the kitchen on the right. I'm standing in the "formal living room" soon to be sitting area/dining room".

This is the formal living room with the window to the front yard. Notice the old metal windows. I'm sorry... blogger now insists that I underline. Please excuse how weird that is...

These pictures help the carpet look great but it's not, it will go.

This is the dining room that will be the kitchen. To the left is the current kitchen. I'm standing in the formal living room.

This is out beauty, the kitchen! Don't you love the color and yes we believe the oven is the original, from 1971... I like the small cupboards myself. I think my candy bar stash would fit nicely... It's all gotta go.

Nathan is standing in the doorway to the kitchen looking down at the family room.

The backdoor is behind Nathan in this picture.

The view of the kitchen from the family room.

To the right you can see the stairs to the basement.

Here is the family room with beautifully painted wood paneling (I'm being sarcastic).

This is the laundry area. You can see the stairs to the basement on the left and the door to the garage on the right. I am standing at the foot of the living room. The door in front is to the 1/2 bath.

Baby's room. Notice, no carpet.

Harrison's room with lovely wall paper...

Guest Bathroom or Hall Bath. The person who lived her before was in the middle of remodeling it and it's horrible... He did so many weird intricate things that make it hard to fix... Like this sink nook.

This is the shower/bathtub. The room was too small that I couldn't get a good shot.

Now, this is the real treat! The master-bedroom, seriously who were these people?

Door to the master-bath.

Take a look at the beauty! Isn't she magnificent?

These are the stairs back up to the living room. The bonus room is to the left.

Front of the house Notice the LOVELY landscaping

The backyard
