Work Shower

It's been a while sine we last posted. I have completed my last Master's class before tiny Jones arrives. I have three left but those will have to wait. The same weekend I finished that class my mom and grandma were in town for my baby shower. Then students started to trickle back onto campus and now it's full force! We have been really busy! We finally finished all of our baby classes and college group is now on pause until next summer so we are starting to get some down time during the week nights. Now we just need to gt a few more things done and then wait.

I'm at 37 weeks now which means I'm not allowed to leave the Denver metro area. Kaiser policy. And I could have him at any time. Of course everyone says your first one comes later but then again I've had several women tell me about their stories of early arrivals. And then there's my Doctor visit last week. She freaked us both out by asking us a million questions on what we have ready. She over emphasized that we should try to be as ready as we can be and have our bags packed by now. Maybe that's just a precaution? I have another appointment next Tuesday so we'll see what she says then.

Well we have a lot of pictures to share so I am going to blog a few times to catch you up on things.

Here are the picture from my work shower. My friends Sarah, Missy and Kristen put it on. It was so much fun and they were so thoughtful! They decorated with things from our nursery, got a nice ice cream cake because they know I hate real cake and they even created a story for tiny Jones about how his parents met. It was so cute! They were so thoughtful! Here are the pics:

Just a few of my co-workers.

A few of my students came which was GREAT! This is Lindsey and Joelle who I've been advising for the last three years and whose been part of a girls Bible study we've done for the past two years.

This is my boss' boss' boss. He's the VP of Student Life. His preferred picture pose is the thumbs up pose s you can tell. He's great!

I recommend that every woman invite a few guys to her shower. They are very entertaining! This Eric and Simeon. Simeon and I go way back to his first day in CCU admissions. He took my job :) Eric was in the LDC with me up until three weeks ago when he left for greener pastures, no more like heavier traffic, DC.

So those are some of the work shower pictures. Next, friends and family shower. Another post to come.
