Friends and Family Shower

A friend and mentor of mine, Kathy Taussig, volunteered to throw a baby shower for us. It was so much fun. It was a brunch shower. She served lots of great breakfast food and several of my closest friends were there. We got a lot of presents and we have been continued to get presents every day since. It's been amazing! We have felt so blessed by everyone's generosity.

My mom and grandma flew out for the shower which I really appreciated. We even got a chance to spend some time with my aunt and uncle who Nate and I hardly see even though they only live an hour a way. We need to become better at that....

We didn't get a group picture from the shower which I'm bummed about, we forgot, but here are a few pictures from the shower.

My mom filled the wagon with lots of goodies for Tiny Jones.

My friends from my church Bible study all pitched in for a pack and play. Super helpful and thoughtful!


I look way tired in these pictures , I think mostly because a few nights before my mom ad grandma's flight was delayed that they didn't get in until 3am so the lack of sleeping was killing me...

This is Kathy who put on the shower. We met at CCU 5 years ago when Nathan and I first got married. Kathy and her husband have been a huge part of our lives while we've been here in Denver.
