Moab

A few months back Brendan, Aundi, Nathan and I planned a trip out to Moab. We rented a house and planned to drive the 6 hour trip Friday night and return Sunday. Since I am eight months pregnant we didn't do the camping thing. Maybe next time. It was fun! It was hot since July is the hottest month for Moab but the AC helped. I was even able to hike around a little. Here are a few pictures from our trip.

Canyonlands National Park

Our car ride. Can you spot Brendan and Aundi in the back? They're CRAZY!

That's the delicate arch behind us. We took the half mile hike to this lookout. The other options was the 2 mile hike and we decided educing labor in the middle of the Utah dessert wasn't going to be wise.

This rock is hanging on for dear life. It's called the Balanced Rock. Makes sense.

This was the living room of where we stayed. We could have fit another couple in with us or a few kids. Maybe next time.

The vast Canyonlands again.

Nathan showing us his rock climbing skills. "Look mom, no harness".

Well there isn't much more to say about our trip. It was a lot of fun and good to get away for a weekend with friends.

Hope you all are well!

Love you!

P.S. I did go through a major Slurpee craving this weekend... What's that about?
