I decided to take a break from studying for my class I'm teaching on Tuesday and post our pictures from a few weeks ago. I just got them today! We did a family photo shoot with my friend Beth. The pictures turned out great! I'm actually babysitting her kids right this moment (don't worry, their asleep) in return for her wonderful work!
This is the perfect picture of our little man. When I think about Harrison this is the face that comes into my mind. He is just always so happy and excited about life!
I thought incorporating our family love for books was appropriate :) Nathan brought a leadership book and I brought a parenting book, just incase you were wondering. There are two things that I really love about the above picture that I just can't help but mention. One, do you notice how captured Harrison is by the book? He'll do anything to get his hands on one of our books and this photo op was his shining moment. Two, can you believe that ANYONE would ever pain their house that color! I mean really! It's great for a colorful picture but that's about it.
I have to be honest, this photo shoot was exhausting. Harrison is terribly squirmy. I don't think he has a future in modeling like his cousins, he won't sit still for a second nor does he want to be contained. Getting him to look at the camera was like getting a cat into water... (I have a cat laying next to me right now so it popped in my brain...) :)
